I thought this blog would be for just my love of cosmetics, but I think i'm going to broaden my blog and talk about other hobbies that I love. Sorry if cosmetics is your major interest and that's why you're here, but hey, I'm much more complex than that =) Hopefully you'll still stick around.

I've always loved nature growing up and every opportunity I get to leave the city, I will be there. As a matter a fact, i rather live in the suburbs than the city despite the activities availible in cities. One of my life plans is to live in a suburban city that is close to a major city. That way I get the best of both worlds.

Several days ago i was cooking and wished I had some fresh herbs and the idea of growing my own organic herb garden hit me. Target is having their Spring line up and are selling seeds of all sorts for fairly cheap so I snagged several packets of herbs that I know I'll be using, like basil, chives, cilantro, oregano, and parsley. I even bought a packet of green onions but I haven't planted those yet because i want to do some research firsts to see if it's a good idea to use containers to grow them, but so far, google kind of failed me on that, so I may just wing it and hope for the best. I loveee green onions!

So far, I've only planted basil, chives and cilantro because I ran out of containers. I might go to OSH and get more pots and perhaps a bigger pot for the green onions. I can't wait until they sprout! I think they will in about a week, but since it's still winter, it may still be kind of cold for them to grow. Wouldn't it be great to never run out of organic herbs (an onions)? Pictures coming soon... when they sprout.
